Hi there, Cheatham hIll Families! The school year is flying by, and we can't believe it's already February! With the holiday season behind us... we want to take a moment to say thank you to our wonderful community for making our holiday assistance program such a success. We were blown away by your support and generosity for our families in need! THANK YOU! Our counseling department is busy creating and delivering core curriculum lessons with students in grades K-5. In January, we began our "Career Center" lessons with students. During these educational, play-based lessons, students learn about the educational requirements of certain careers, salary information, and experience what a "day in the life" is like! Moreover, the start of a new semester often means the start of new small group opportunities for students. If you are interested in a small group experience for your student, please contact the grade level counselor. As always, if you think your student would benefit from additional support here at Cheatham Hill--please let us know! We are here to help! A note to our 5th grade families...Please be on the look out for communication from your child's school counselor and/or classroom teacher in regard to middle school visits. Our counseling department is working diligently with our feeder schools to set up field trips for our rising 6th graders!
