Hello, Cheatham Hill Community! We hope you all enjoyed a restful, relaxing break with family and friends. HAPPY NEW YEAR! We want to start the New Year by saying thank you to our community members for making our Holiday Assistance program SO successful. We helped provide coats, clothes, and gifts to over 70 boys and girls in need during the holidays, and that would NOT have been possible without the support of our Cheatham Hill community, including Jean Bass, Cobb EMC, Nicholson Elementary, and the Chattahoochee Gold Swim Team. Again, thank you for all of your support! As we move along into January, we are looking forward to beginning our Career Centers with students in grades 1-5. Students will have the opportunity to learn about new careers in a fun, hands on way. We encourage you to ask your student what fun, new careers they are learning about during Core Curriculum! While grades 1-5 are busy with Career Centers, our Kindergarteners will be learning all about Sportsmanship while reading Howard B. Wiggle Bottom Learns about Sportsmanship: Winning isn't Everything! They will even be putting their sportsmanship skills to the test during collaborative games and activities! Check back for future updates as we move into February!
Again, Happy New Year! ~Ms. McCloskey, Mrs. Bartlett, and Mrs. Mason |
